The story was set up to be a good friends to lovers (my favorite plot), but eventually fell flat. Pieces were missing and the characters weren’t lovable.

Friends to lovers with a time traveling twist? Immediate BOTM pick. A cast of loveable characters and a truly adorable leading man make this book truly special. It isn't perfect but the last few pages did manage to make me tear up, so that makes up for it.
