While this was cute and I like the characters with their flaws, I found the story a little lacking. We spend a lot of time setting up this romance and yet we don't really get it? We only see Gemma and Dax in the other universe. Hardly any in "our" universe. I get that the plot can't really allow for the latter but that is the relationship we were rooting for so...

This was such a fun and lovely romance. With a bit of witchy magic. It gave me all the warm fuzzies. And I adored Gemma (with a G) and Dax. This is best friends to lovers with a twist and I adored it. It left me smiling throughout. I highly recommend. 😍

A pleasant read. A bit different than your average romance. Kind of predictable. It didn’t wow me and it’s probably not something I’ll go back to read again. But it had some steamy scenes and I had a good time overall.
