My heart! These characters are so CUTE !! I love the way they're still figuring themselves and each other out, and the development of their relationships feels so natural. Yet the occasional angst is broken up super well with humor. Hashimoto is still best girl.

I don't like how much Aoki keeps breaking Ida, and I get it bc Aoki is embarrassed and worried about how the world will perceive them and on top of that is unaware about Ida's feelings, but like, homie imma need you to talk this out with Ida. And like yeah at the end they did talk it out and actually establish what Ida is feeling but it broke both mine and Ida's hearts.

This series is just the sweetest, cutest, most adorkable high school romance series I've come across in a while! I want to talk about EVERYTHING that happened in this volume, and at the same time, I don't wanna say anything because I don't wanna give anything away. So, in a nutshell, there's a breakup, a Christmas makeup, a New Year shrine visit with too many people around, misunderstandings, Aoki is melodramatic, Ida gets a few clues finally, romantic moments, swoon! All wrapped up in Aruko's beautiful, dreamy art *sigh*... I hope volume 5 comes out soon!
