This book was very tropy and felt good as a concept but it didn't feel realistic. Besides the whole setting and 'fake-dating' thing which we all know would never happen in real life  the characters just felt so out of touch with reality. It felt like a fantasy but not one I would like to have. The characters were perfect and had almost no flaws and most of the story was just too convenient. Things didn't happen naturally but because of the effect they had.
Quinn didn't have an accident because it was previously established that she likes biking or it has any impact. It was just because they want Lacey to play nurse and thus force the characters closer together. Also the whole plot point felt so strange. It was all way too convenient and I didn't like it.

I do know that there are not that many great sapphic books out there and that's the reason I read this in the first place but still it's not worth it. The concept could have been something but it really wasn't.

I do get if you liked this book but it just truly wasn't for me.
