Super cute at parts but the ending felt so lacking.

Cute. I thunk little kids will really enjoy. The looks on the othef sea creatures' faces saying so much with their eyes as they watch Sea Monkey & Bob try to figure it all out cracked me up. Nice content connection to science with things that sink/float. Good lesson on working together and counterbalance.

Sinking or floating? When the two sea creatures hold hands they balance each other out.
Meh.

It's like the authors recently went to our summer of learning and said, hey! You need better books! First Adler's Magnets Push, Magnets Pull, and now this delightful little book of buoyancy. Thanks Sea Monkey, thanks Bob!

Books with only dialogue are so hard to share via reading aloud. It always ends up rushed and Berry loses focus. The illustrations in the endpapers kept her fascinated, but once the story began she was out.
