I wasn't exactly sure what to expect with this, and I'll say I do not know all of the Greek myths that are mentioned in this novel. If I had I've no doubt I'd have found it even more impressive.
This was a really personal look at the character Circe, who is telling us her story, there is a great character arc in here and enough plot to really keep you invested.
Based on this I will certainly take on more Greek myth retellings in the future.

I enjoyed learning more about characters from
Geek mythology. It was an easy read and I found myself wanting to know what happened next. I found the writing style quite clunky and the different sections of the book were quite awkwardly placed and didn’t flow together so well.
