This made my tummy hurt the whole time because it's so realistic and stressful. i wish we saw how they fixed it up, i feel like we had to go through the stressful stuff but never got the satisfaction of them putting it back together

It explored more than I thought it was going to, though it still didn't go as far as I wanted it to. But it never was going to within the bounds of heteronormativity, and to be honest, that's ok. I selfishly wish we'd gone a bit more into Rachel's dynamic, but I liked what was there. I thought the story was well-written and engaging, and I always love a book that does a sort of pretentious character study because I am sort of pretentious
