Awesome life lessons, when you want it, never do we get it. But when we don't, it's right in front of us staring and drowing us

Those solemn but sweet organ notes had set up a revolution in him.

This was a random collection of classic short stories I picked up. I have never even heard of the author before. I loved some of the stories (giving one 5 stars), was indifferent to most.

GENERAL:
- read for student teaching
- I haven't read any O. Henry before. Not even the Gift of the Magi.
- it was just okay, though
LIKES:
- the writing is fantastic, of course.
DISLIKES:
- the end is kind of a let down. I mean, it had the infamous O'Henry twist. But I wasn't blown away or anything.
- the plot was also lackluster.
