This was a heartbreaking but good read. For anyone who loves world war two stories, and especially loves to learn more about the Resistance in France and the SOE, I would say to read this one. It doesn't at all shy away from hard topics, and most of the main characters are pretty likable. At first, I found myself not liking one of them, but she grew on me to become my favorite.
I will say, the writing seemed a bit juvenile at times, but it wasn't so bad as to make me put the book down. I just felt like the author could have done more showing and less telling, finding better ways to describe some of the characters' emotions and such. Plus, I kind of guessed who the double agent was before it was confirmed, but despite both of these the plot was intriguing enough to keep me reading, and in some cases I found myself guessing till the end on other matters.
So, I do recommend it overall and am glad I picked it up!
