I hated the main character. Like hated her. She was somehow weak but also so dumb that it hurt my brain. I wanted to physically harm her. She grew up in this world but acted so dumb.

Ugh….it’s probably not that bad, she just grated on my nerves and by the mid-way I just tried to ignore her. It was a really simple story, nothing to deep with almost no plot, and still managed to have almost no spice. I didn’t love it, but I listened the entire way. I like Nora Ash’s other books so it gets two stars just for that.

This primal play with a strong female character and secret pregnancy mafia enemies to lovers was a great escape with great narration by Shane East and Rachel Knight. I will be continuing this series.

This was such a good book! My introduction to contemporary romance, and I can't recommend it enough! All the books in this series van be read as stand alone, but I highly recommend starting with this first book and then moving in to the 2nd then 3rd.
It's not an omegaverse book, but it does have many nice references from that universe, which I loved.
It's got some really nice and steamy sex scenes, the plot it really good, and we love us some danger.

Dangerous was my first Mafia romance novel, and I can honestly say that I'm surprised that I enjoyed it so much! Mira wasn't my favorite, but the character growth Blaine went through was wonderful. I'll definitely be continuing this series!

In the mood for something featuring narrator Shane East, I grabbed Dangerous by Nora Ash to try something new with a dark, mafia storyline. (I’m pretty sure bookstagram made me do it, and I’m not mad about it!) This story starts out with Blaine going to a therapist and being a complete jerk, but quickly the story takes a wild turn. Mira is the daughter of an Irish mob family who seeks to align themselves with Blaine Steel’s family. They are forced to marry. Mira expects to be poorly treated by Blaine after growing up in her family, but is quickly surprised by the Steel brothers. They are not at all what she expected. And when things take a surprising turn, she will have no one else to turn to but the family she was forced into.

I loved this fast paced story. Mira was strong and feisty and perfectly narrated by Rachel Knight who I hope narrates more in the future. She was wonderful! Shane takes his proper English accent and gives it a bit more street cred, and gives Blaine the cocky, Alpha attitude he deserves. But beneath the bravado is a good guy and I loved the layers of these complex brothers. An amazing listen in an intriguing series that I will be continuing right away.
