Book title after we fall review
This is the second book in the series and let me tell you it was so funny in the beginning of the story like if I was Margret I would of told her ex-boyfriend wear to stick if you know what I mean. Like dude grow up but I feel like she upgraded when she started dating Jake like I feel like there was something there in the beginning and I was right ugh. Like I get where jack was coming from losing his wife like he did and though he could never find someone else but he did and it was just a cute love story.

This is my second read by Ms. Harlow and it did not disappoint. It was a Beautiful story of love after loss and finding your truest self. Margot had me from the first line! I cheered her on as she threw those scones and only wished she hadn't missed more than hit her mark. When Jack came into the story, I fell in love with him alongside Margot. The sex scenes her hot and written beautifully (not raunchy). All characters were three dimensional and easy to get to know. There was no 'villain' in this story and no drama for the sake of drama (I hate that!). I read this novel without having read book 1 in the series and it did not take anything from the story. Though, I loved this world so much I already downloaded "Man Candy" and look forward to reading it. Overall, I truly enjoyed this story and can easily imagine Margot and Jack sitting on their porch swing with her head on his shoulder enjoying their evening.

I love it!

I don't write many reviews but this one I had to write. What a beautiful love story. Don't want to give anything away so I'll leave it at that.

When a book can make a reader feel every emotion the characters feel, it is the perfect kind. Melanie Harlow has a way of writing a story that makes the characters so real and so believable the reader becomes entrenched in their lives. This book in particular is different from the start. The hero is not your typical rich businessman, but an organic farmer trying to get by with his family farm. The flip side with the heroine, the rich spoiled brat wanting more out of life. Their lives become intertwined when Jack and Margot meet to discuss the marketing of Jack's farm. Much to his chagrin, Margot is smart, willing to get down and dirty and their attraction is inevitable. Jack has a lot in his past to deal with and let go while Margot has to figure out where her life is going. Together, they make an unusual pair, but perfect. We do get to see Jamie and Quin again, from Man Candy, and as her stories go, she deals with some real, life issues, like PTSD and guilt for past transgressions. Harlow writes with wit, passion and compassion.

Rob Howard and Renee Givens are dual narrating this book. They have great passion and chemistry, their voices working well together and create a world to escape to. They are wonderful and will definitely be looking for additional narration by them.

Sighing with a big smile on my face is fairly normal- the wistful longing and googly eyes too. The happy smirk forming while I type this is because I'm a scone cold bitch. -Still not a typo!

I am in love with falling in love. I love the fall. I love the journey. But what about After We Fall...?

After We Fall is a second chance romance with new players...I'm the weirdo that assumes (yes, the saying is correct) that second chance is between a previous couple. Not always, but I like specifying in this case because a good sconing is not always enough to deter jerks.

Ridiculous comments aside, this book is fun, sexy, and sweet. Has some awesome one liners, over the top reactions, and enough drama to make your heart twinge, even as a scone cold bitch!!!!!!

Still my absolute favorite line!
