This book is even better than the great first one. This series touches on so many important societal topics but in a really intriguing world and with a gripping, heart-wrenching concept. The way the second games were written kept it fresh - it didn’t feel like the first one rehashed, it was a different story, with somehow even higher stakes.  This book is even better than the great first one. Since my childhood favorite character Finnick was in this it was very nostalgic and reading about him again was a joy.  Overall it was good but I liked the first book better.
