The poor dialogue and repetition let's this down. The general plot and story beats are great, but it wasn't executed well. Not terrible.

I knew that I should feel emotions, but I wasn't feeling those emotions. Everything felt quite rote.

I enjoyed this quick read and how it sets up the series. I’m excited to see what happens next with the characters introduced in this book and will be devouring this series asap!

This is a light, fun, super quick read! The setting is so peaceful and the characters are very likeable (aside from the cheating husband and other woman!). I've already ordered book #2 and I'm looking forward to finding out how the story continues to develop.

Just ok for me. The writing felt like I was reading a book written for youth. And the story was sweet but nothing to keep you on the edge of your seat. Honestly I’d pass unless you want a super quick, easy read that will do little more than keep you occupied.
