I listened to the audiobook version. The narrator did a great job with all the voices. It’s just a simple drama/romance book, but I found myself engaged throughout the entire thing. I know nothing about this series, but if they’re all this good… I’m in for a treat!

I have to start off by saying I really couldn’t stand Julie!!! Of course I felt for her when her husband cheats on her and leaves her, but WOW she was so judgmental!!!! The relationship with her sister was very much ruined by Julie.. like ma’am why are you like this???!!! The end of this book had me nervous.. I was scared Julie was going to give in, but so glad she didn’t.

Little slow to start but it picked up. The main character, Julie is the nicest person ever. I could not be as nice as she is. You can’t help but root for her. Also, you want to scream WHAT are you thinking LOL but again Julie is a saint.

Great story and I look forward to seeing what happens to Julie, Dixie, Janeen and Dawson in future books

This is quite possibly the most contrived, cliche, sappy, and poorly written book I have ever read.
