I didn't read this book as a child but I think it's now one of my favorites. It's a beautifully written and illustrated book with a very sweet story that's enjoyable for child because of its simplicity and meaning for adults. A real treasure and a classic for every child's library. I'm looking forward to reading it to/with my own children in the future.
