This was a DNF for me. The POV switches between characters in the same paragraph and I could never tell who was thinking what because of it. I have no idea why so many people genuinely enjoyed this. I returned the book after around 40 pages. I still don't know how I made it that far.

This book was recommended to me and showed up on a lot of goodreads lists for best couple.
Two FBI agents with a lot of baggage are teamed up to find a serial killer. Their own issues of PTSD and addiction plus the constant attacks of the killer. who seems to be one step ahead of them, puts a strain on their new relationship. Cut & Run is definitely more about the agent's partnership than the murder mystery in my opinion. I figured out the killer early on. That didn't detract too much from my enjoyment though. I felt so bad for each of the the characters because they both need time to heal, therapy, and just to communicate with each other but I don't think any of that will happen. I'm going to pick up the next book to see what happens next.

One of the best books I have read in my life and the romance. Bam.
Zane is so loyal in this story you heart breaks on in pact. Both characters were wonderful. Mr. Burns is an asshole. I learned that don't trust nobody because they can stab you in the back.

OMG! Abby and Maddy sooo got these murders from The Raven. Still, it's fucking beautiful.

This book and series is always recommended in reading groups so when DSP had a sale, I bought the series. After finally taking the time to read the first book I’m really questioning the people who constantly recommend this book. I’m obviously the minority in my feelings regarding this book.

Zane & Ty are too ridiculously annoying to like them. Their banter isn’t fun, it’s annoying. At 47% I started skipping through the book to try to get to the serial killer parts because the rest was grating on my last nerve. I figured out the serial killer at the very beginning and turns out I was right so I could have quit reading at the beginning.

DID NOT FINISH: 30%

I couldn’t get past the constant banter between the two MMCs. It was nonstop and they felt like annoying middle school boys playacting as cops every time they opened their mouths. There were also abrupt shifts in tone and direction the story or conversation was going without any indication it was coming so after a third of the book, i just decided to start reading something else. I had originally planned to go back and finish this but honestly i just can’t get myself to do it. I already know who the VERY OBVIOUS killer is. There was hardly any mystery there.

Not my thing. Writing is awful and childish, characters are mehhh

(1.5) this could have been good but between the bad writing and lack of chemistry between the leads i almost dnf’d like 10 times
