I was really iffy on the book as it's going back and forth between more than 2 people so it was a bit confusing. However I did stop reading at 31% when I realized the book had M/M in it. Just not my thing.

This story was hard to keep up with as it jumps back and forth one minute it's present, the next, it's past. Towards the end it goes from 8 years later back to 2 week before the wedding and the day of the wedding. I feel the jumping around was just too much. The plot is okay, could be better. Just really hard to keep up with. It is a relationship between 3 men and 1 woman.

This was exactly what I expected from Kitty! However, I’m torn on the rating. As I said- it was the typical Kitty Thomas read, but also something was missing.

We never found out about the ‘spring break’ incident. I mean it was literally related to the predicament Livia found herself in. So how could that portion of the story go untold.

I want Macy to have a story. Please make that happen. Overall, this was meh

My first 3 M, 1 F book and I am disappointed by the lack of action & plot. I am not interested at all in reading the second book in this series. Had this not been standalone, I would have not been interested in finishing the second book.

Edit: After thinking about, icky douche vibes means this gets one star instead of 2.

The Proposal is a dark romance. Wow, Wow, Wow is this book is GOOD & HAWT! I couldn’t put The Proposal DOWN! If you love dark romances then you need to read this Book!

Normally I give you a little synopsis but not this time. I don’t want to tell you what the story is about. I want you to read it and find out. It isn’t as dark as some can be. It is twisted, sexy & taboo. It’s Kitty Thomas writing perfection! I loved this book. 5+ DARK & Sexy STARS.

A bit of a slow starter, and then suddenly goes a bit too fast. I wish the story was paced out a little better and there wasn’t so much back and forth between the present and past. Also wasn’t as dark as it was sold to be, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

People seem to suggest that Soren ends up being a good guy during their HEA but still struggling to see that and actually like him, but each to their own.
