Ok, so I thought this was a good book. It was a nice little fairy tale escape into book land. While I find some of the situations and the brazenness of the lead female character unbelievable, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good bad boy/ good girl story.

Nick’s POV began abruptly and threw me off. Like all of a sudden he’s infatuated with Daisy…sure. It might have been more believable if it’d shown his first time seeing her. Maybe he saw her move into the apartment. A cute little “love at first sight” moment. Nope he’s just been stalking her (cause of the job he’d been doing.)
The pacing of the story is slow and not much happens. It begins with action, and the middle 70% of the story is Nick obsessing over Daisy and watching her every move, which makes sense-to a certain degree.
The romance in this book is weak. It seemed more like lust to me.
I didn’t pay much attention to Regan until the kidnapping fiasco, and it was all I could think about while it was occurring. I didn’t even care for Nick and Daisy’s resolution.
Overall I didn’t connect with the main characters. I felt more drawn to Daniel and Regan’s characters and they were barely in it.

I liked the beginning, but these mf just talk too weird and stilted for my taste. Like I get that Nick is foreign, but Daisy has no excuse. Why does she talk like it’s her first time? I get that she was sheltered? But come on. It got annoying. And they got annoying. It was a 3.5, but now it’s a 2.5.

I had no idea what to expect with this but I was pleasantly surprised. I loved Daisy & Nick so much! Such a great story!

I enjoyed this book. After reading the whole series though (with the exception of the last book obviously) Nikolai and Daisy are my least favourite couple. I thought it was a decent start to the series and while I did like the characters while reading, looking back I probably wouldn't read it again. They kind of bore me now that I've read about Regan and Naomi. They are much more interesting and compelling leading ladies. And honestly after some thought I think I'm lowering the rating from 5 to 4 stars. It was a good book but can't really compare to the next 2.

This is a pretty good book, but the characters are very unrealistic at times. It is a page turner, but could have been written better. Overall, it's a nice quick read for people who appreciate a little action tied in with romance.

I really wanted to love this book, I had been so looking forward to it from first hearing about it...

The writing was great, the drama, the setting of Hitmans as opposed to the other typical romance alpha males...

I think the only thing that let me down was I didn't feel a huge connection in the end to either of the main characters; and that is all on me. Nothing to do with the authors, writing, or anything...
