This is a strange book, it's very hard to classify Naasir, but his sometimes very innocent way of seeing things is endearing and occasionally hilarious. It's playful, wicked, sweet, gruesome, and you see how another of Raphael's seven are bonded to him and why.
Definitely a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Naasir and Andis book. Andi is a scholar and from Char’s court and helping Naasir locate Alexander. A powerful ancient who we to sleep and Lijuan is trying to kill. They are able to wake him up and Lijuan tries to kill him but Raph comes and helps. Naasir is a chimera of a child and tiger cub who was made a vamp but a melder angel. i think we could have gotten more sadness from this backstory but it was still a good explanation. They end up together and Raph is able to take power from Illuim. Theres no 11 archangels. A big war coming
