El libro trata de violencias familiares pasadas por el tamiz de una historia de fantasmas. Me parce que es una tendencia en la narrativa escrita por mujeres en la actualidad. Está muy bien narrado, me gustó mucho que la cada estuviera en el centro de la trama. Está narrado en primera persona y desde la primera línea la novela te atrapa y no te suelta.

this is a book that’s deserving of a 8-10 page book review discussing its themes of generational trauma, class consciousness, and a deep feminine rage otherwise called the woodworm itch.
💭 i wonder if the

killing of the husband, the bricklayer, and the boy truly restored the women’s power and satisfied their rage or if this was yet another way these men took control of them
