Very cute with a surprising amount of emotional depth. The personal journey, the main character goes through really tied the story together and gave it the extra push it needed. I love fairy tales and retelling or continuations of them are my favorite.

This story was funny, sweet, and delightfully queer. I had a great time (and only cried a little).

Clem is a gem! The rest was just alright, and honestly I might have put this down several times if it weren't for her exchanges and her POV in general. So damn cute and funny! Tickled me every time. Mariel is a good foil to her, definitely a grumpy/sunshine dynamic going on here, but Mariel's side of things alone didn't resonate as much and would have been pretty flat... it definitely needed Clem.
