I was a little skeptical going in because I didn’t love their previous book but the concept—queer Robin Hood—appealed to me so much that I have it a chance. And I’m so glad I did. Wonderful cast of characters, interesting story. Recommended and will read again.

Not for the Faint of Heart took me a fair while to get into. It’s on the younger end of YA, which meant it was very fast-paced and required a heavy suspension of disbelief, but once I was adjusted to this world and continuation on the Robin Hood myth, I found it enjoyable. It’s fun, the stakes are high, the consequences are real, and I know I would’ve adored this as a teenager.
