Umm hmm. This was my first foray into this type of book and I can’t say I was impressed. Like it wasn’t even the premise that bothered me, but it was just poorly written tbh. Way, way too much of dragging it out for literally like the first 70% of the book. And then it just all happens way too quickly to feel like an actual resolution. Idk. Not a huge fan of this one specifically, but will try to give others a chance.
