Even in that one the foucs was about the characters more the events but tbh I loved how the emotions changed slowly, when they love each other there still doubt and fear and that's so realistic actually
the last chapters between Selene and amara were magnificent, how the jealously sister died before she could become something she desired
how our beautiful dreamwalker found her ture destiny
how North Castle became her home.
how the secrets shocked me
how everything in this book was so beautiful!

4.5. A little dull in the middle but still very good.

Ehh, the religious hemes in this book get a little out of hand. They start to feel evangelizy.
Amazing and memorable characters, unforgettable and powerful emotion, strong and undeniable faith, spectacular and captivating world building...what more could a reader ask for?
Only one issue for me personally -- I need the next book, and I need it NOW!
Morgan L. Busse has mastered the art of high fantasy, and she's done so with precision and passion and purity.
The relationship between the main characters?
Exquisite.
You need this series in your life. And once you enter the Ravenwood Saga world you will be changed. It will live on in you forever.

Picking up almost immediately after the first, Selena tries to get used to her new home while she and Damien try to get used to each other. At the same time, bad mommy sends sister after then and other typical fantasy intrigues happen. Well written, smoothly flows, even if his magic seems a little weird (what happens to all the fish in the river when the wall's up?).
DNF after chapter 7.
0 stars (why is it not possbile to acutally give 0 stars anyway?) . I let YA books often get away with their flaws. But the fight in chapter seven alone offends me so much I had to stop. I could probably get over the silly "love story" but even I have some limits.

4.5 Stars!!
This book picks up right where Mark of the Raven left off! And thank goodness... that cliffhanger was BRUTAL!!
Diving deeper into the light in this installment!

I love this series so much, we get to see more into the life of our main characters and their houses. Honestly - who doesn't love a character driven story? Thats definitely what you get in Flight of the Raven. Selene and Damien's arc takes place in book 2 so it felt a little more slow moving but thats ok because and it was a beautiful thing.
I can not believe this is a "Christian Fantasy" its so well done and not at all what I expected it to be. I am always looking for books like this and its really sad that its so rare. But from this moment forward Mrs. Busse has gained a new Fan and I have to read all of her books now.

Just a heads up- There was more romance than action in this book which was to be expected with that cliffhanger from Mark of the Raven- but Im ok with that. Plus its done in such a subtle way and not the mushy gushy kind. It felt authentic and real and I adored it. It had to happen anyways to make way for the War that is brewing up for the last book!
Im so excited cant wait to start it!!
