first of all i have to say im proud of myself for finishing this in under 2 weeks because usually it takes me a lot longer to get into things properly

first thing i wanna say is i really liked the main character and i think she was an absolute girlboss tbh. i felt bad for her having to be independent as an orphan on the streets since being 6 years old and the childhood trauma made her closed off for most of the book fr. i liked how she was written as she was a thief who used riddles as a way to manipulate those she stole off which is something you dont really find in a character normally. she was very smart in her mission of invading tor’s watch she really played the bellengers like a fiddle and they had absolutely no idea

I loved this book. It really started to pick up for me a lot towards the middle. I tried to start reading it back in august and I DNF it but I can’t remember why. Jase and Kazi are perfect for each other and their romance is so sweet. I didn’t realize when I started this that there was a series before and that makes so much sense… I felt super confused for a while. Probably would’ve enjoyed more if I understood the world better but that’s due to my fault not the authors. With that said, I do feel like some conflicts are completely brushed over at times (like at the end when kazi and Jase just automatically forgive each other). Jase is the freaking best bless his soul. Anyways definitely read.

Dance of Thieves
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Even though I knew I’d be spoiled for the Remnant chronicles, I didn’t think it would be that much-
It’s safe to say I will probably not pick up the remaining two books...
When I read enemies to lovers there has to be banter between them or I’m not really invested. This book had it all, but I was just bored throughout the whole story.
I don’t know if I’ll be reading the next book right now, we’ll see.

Yes. Yes. Yes. This is how you write fantasy. Yes, you take a while to get to grips with terminology and the world building, but that's half the fun! The characters had flaws that make them more real and lovable. The story has you hooked, you want to keep reading even if it's 2am and you should've been asleep hours ago! Plus, it's written well and I have struggled a lot this year to find books that have been eloquently written whilst still maintaining a strong plot (too many DNFs this year has me scarred!).

Can't wait to get my hands on the next one, I only wish this series was longer!
