At first I genuinely disliked this book. I am a fan of slow romance and, well, this starts with a hook up and has so so so many sex scenes. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with the sex scenes whatsoever! A few is quite nice and makes a book super enjoyable :) That being said I felt bored half way through and had to convince myself to finish reading. I felt the adult scenes were so frequent that the book wasn’t truly going anywhere, I kept waiting for romance and titles and was disappointed until most of the book was over. The ending definitely had me hooked though and for that I give it 3 stars. Once the plot started really going forward I was unable to stop myself and took less then 3 days to finish the book. All things considered it’s not my type of book but I can definitely see some people truly enjoy the writing and the ending is worth getting to.

♥️ Alec and Georgia knew each other from childhood as Georgias best friend was Alec’s sister. By chance they run into each other years later and have a one night stand.

There’s a million other things that happen in this book but I truly can’t tell you much of them because it will all be spoilers. I will say that this was a unique story line though and although it used some common tropes it really put a unique spin on them.

A warning to be aware of is that Georgia is a reporter who is currently working on a story about a club that has had shady things happening and because of this the book will go into mentions of sexual assault. But also good to mention that it will not go into any graphic detail in that regard.

The smut however comes with all the details and is hot and heavy right from the start. You have been warned.

Now onto the spoilers:
-I loved that he was famous but that you didn’t find out until later. That particular trope is one I don’t love but the author did it in a unique way where we got to know Alex before we found that out and it left me needing to know more.
-Having one of the victims be Alec’s sister and Georgias old friend was a shock to me. When we found out Alec had a tie to the article Georgia was writing in no way did I guess it was about his sister. The way that story played out made me have so many emotions and ache for her friend.
-The way the story played out in the fact that Georgia and Alec needed to sneak around because he is famous, be cautious about her story because of knowing people involved, reconnecting to her childhood best friend (who’s name I can’t remember) and how she was one of the victims in the club nightmare, and a very valid third act breakup. It was something that made you want to keep reading.

This was great. I loved how emotional Alec is and how much he loves Gigi. I liked Gigi’s personality

Light, fluffy, sexy, fun! Easy read with enough drama to keep you interested but not enough to stress you out.
