Ok… So I’m really enjoying the story overall and have already started the next in the series but this particular book’s pacing was really hard for me to find a rhythm in, some parts felt repetitive and others rushed. Could it have been 200 pages shorter, yes? Was the last 150 so good I immediately started The Dawn of the Cursed Queen, yes?
Overall series rating TBD but I’m super invested in the end of this story.

Absolutely obsessed with this story, finally a series that managed to get me out of a reading slump.
The story and the characters are amazing and what can i say: I support women's rights AND wrongs. Only complaint I have is that it dragged a bit around the middle of the book and the big betrayal and plot twist at the end was quite obvious,but I just can't wait to read the next book

I say this so seriously, this might be one of the best series I’ve ever read. I’ve been burning through so much fantasy and a lot of can be predictable (which, I have no problem with lmao) but this one truly had me shocked and I couldn’t even guess what would happen next. The romance is incredible but the FANTASY. The twists the turns the secrets that unfold… the side stories don’t detract from the main plot, they only add to it in a perfect balance. I haven’t felt so shocked by a twist in awhile oooohhh my god
