I always enjoy when monster romance authors let their monsters be monstrous, and this book delivered. I love how the romance unfolded and I loved their HEA. An enjoyable read!

Couldn't attach to either character

3 stars for me are always difficult to review because they are not great but not bad either. this had an interesting story and characters but I felt it was not fleshed out enough. It touched on sensitive topics which is great because not enough romances do that and end happily. but it wasn't fleshed out enough to be considered amazing.

More like a 3.5. This story was really good with excellent spice. It was also a little creepy in my opinion... but that might just be me. But even with the creepiness, it managed to be somehow adorable and endearing at the same time. (A hard thing to pull off in my opinion.) Will definitely be reading the second book in the series at some point. Looking forward to it.
