I was so excited to read this book. Had heard so many good things and I was not disappointed. Read it all in one sitting. It was like reading a book, inside of a book, inside of a book. Such a classic love story of childhood friends that had lost track of each other. The story was ever changing and interesting. When Em's best friend Jase writes a book about their childhoods with some fiction, it sends her on a mission to tie up some lose ends of the people that were in her life.

This was by far one of the best books I've read in both 2015-2016! I won't spoil anything but the writing style was perfect and I loved every moment of it. I don't know why this book isn't more popular!

4.5 ⭐️. I don’t know what it was, but I didn’t want to put this book down. Easy, great read! I could’ve used a little extra at the end to wrap it up or a longer epilogue. Highly recommend when you have experienced a string of “okay” books.

je suis trop triste d’avoir fini c’était incroyable

meh, i was expecting more.

I have mixed feelings about this one...
No doubt that the story had a pull for me, I mean I read it in 2 or 3 sittings...but there were also times that I would get impatient with it...
Spoilerlike for example the relationship between Trevor and Emiline, no matter how much the writer tried, I still couldn't accept the fact that she thought she loved him, or that she should stay in that relationship.

I had so much more to say about this book but as it is 1 am now and I'm really tired, I can't think of any thing more I want to say.
Also, I don't know how to rate this book. And it's a first for me, so...
Maybe I'll rate it later...

I loved before we were strangers so I wanted to pick up this book after reading that. I enjoyed the storyline with the past and present tense which you read through a book one of the characters has written. The thing I was a bit disappointed by was that the female main character has a boyfriend during the whole book
