I don’t think I’ve cried as hard to a book like I did this one. The relationships she had with both men hit home too too much. I LOVED this book. Easily one of my top 2021 books
4.5
wow. just wow.
i randomly stumbled through this book as i was scrolling through here and it immediately caught my attention.
surprised doesn’t even begin to explain how i feel about this story. i was expecting a romance story and that wasn’t just what i got. it’s so much more!
i had constant tears in my eyes and couldn’t put this book down.
em and jase deserve the world and i’m so proud of them.

A story within a story! An easy read, bit rushed in some parts (seems to be a common complaint for me lately). Overall enjoyable :~)

it's so amazingly interesting finding a book that talks about a book, renee carlino always found an fantastic idea that everyone never thought about
I loved this heartbreaking romance. There is so much to unpack from this story but I ended with a giant smile on my face. I loved how a book helped heal and how love conquers all. Would highly recommend.
I am very sad to have given this book 2 stars; I expected so much more than that because it has all the tropes I love. The idea it’s wow! Like it’s so interesting to see a story where it unfolds a book written about one of the characters of a very tragic past but the writing just didn’t make it for me. Also the characters, it felt as even tho they were adults, acted as the same 13 year olds in the book (the one written inside the book) I didn’t feel the character development at all. I’ve read other book from this author and I loved it and maybe that is why this book was such a disappointment (it sounds harsh I know). I craved for more at the end. I needed more.
But books transform people differently. I still love this author, and everyone is bound to their own opinion. So if you haven’t read it; read it maybe you’ll like it :)
