Okay I LOVED this, so much better than the first. I love both characters separately but them together

The banter?! Yes please. It is witty comeback after witty comeback and I am here for it! I just love the exchanges between Natalie and August.

The book is from the POVs of August and Natalie and I love a good book with dual POVs. It’s also enemies to lovers which is one of my favourite tropes.

Natalie loses her job and her fiancé and ends up moving back to Napa. She has a new idea for a business, but unfortunately needs her trust fund and that will only be released to her by marriage.

That’s where August comes in. August, like Natalie, has a vineyard, but August knows nothing about winemaking. Natalie and August come up with a plan that will help them both get what they want. But the only problem is, Natalie can’t stand August.

This book was so cute. I just love Natalie and August and all of their cute little interactions and how supportive they are of each other.

There is no third act break-up, which really threw me off because I find most romance books I read, have that. But this one didn’t and it still flowed really nicely. I will be reading more of her books in the future.

Super cute plot line with a lot of steam! The typical, cringey, pet names are used (a Tessa Bailey staple at this point), but still a great summer read.

Oh my gosh. August will forever be my favorite book boyfriend. This book was so incredible and it made me want to read Secretly Yours again. I hate a miscommunication trope but this one was done perfectly - almost like a communication trope.

I honestly loved this book. The background and dimension of the characters felt very thorough and thought out. The struggles Natalie and August go through alone, and together, really make you root for them to figure out their issues and be together. Plus the epilogue was just perfection ✨

I do not know how Tessa Bailey made me go from absolutely hating August from the interactions in the first book to loving him by the end of this. That was great! August and Natalie's playful banter back and forth the whole time was very enjoyable. The way they both grew into their feelings for each other was cute. I won't say anything else because of spoilers. Oh Tessa, you did it again!
