The chemistry and banter between our two leads was great. I liked the pranks, the back and forth, they suited each other really well. And basically no third act break-up??? (except for a tiny pause where they were apart for, like, two pages). That's a win in my book!

This one just did nothing for me, and I usually like Tessa Bailey. But the dialogue felt stilted and the characters were two dimensional.
Cute plot line, love the powerful FMC, there are a few inconsistencies in the plotline/August's character but otherwise a delightful read
I basically finished this. I just had no interest in actually seeing where the story went after the wedding. This book was in no way interesting.

My biggest issue was just the way August spoke, I get not having a filter but it was crass without being sexy, cringy even. Not a bad book but there are definitely Tessa Bailey books I’ve enjoyed a lot more.
