I expected more spice since the first book had quite a bit of it, but it was pretty good and cute. Loved the banter

I liked the first book and the characters, so was really glad to read on and discover Holley’s and Seb’s story.
It’s a nice rom-com story between a bookworm and a baller with an unresolved high-school history.

I would of liked to have a few more chapters on the development of their romance. Since I felt like the story ended rather abruptly.

So ready for book 3 to read about Saylor’s story and get some background titbits on Kinsley, Holley and the gang.

"Why on Earth would I subject myself to reality when fiction is so much happier?"

This is the second book in the bookworms guide series. Holly and Seb were best friends in college but something happened on the prom night that changed their relationship. Now it has been 8 years where they havent spoken to each other. Seb is back in White peak after a shoulder injury and ready to clear the air with Holly.

The Bookworm’s Guide to Faking It is the second book in the The Bookworm’s Guide series by Emma Hart. We met Holley in The Bookworm's Guide to Dating and she's getting her second chance with her first crush and ex-best friend. She's not going to make it easy for Sebastian. He's back in town and he wants to fix things with Holley. She just won't listen to anything he says! The last thing she wants is to fake date him. Ugh! Sebastian isn't taking no for an answer. Will Holley finally give in? Oh boy! So much fun and sass and craziness with these women! Holley is a little much for me, but the story is funny and Sebastian is a freaking saint! Overall, it's entertaining and a good addition to the series!

As expected, this book has rom-com written all over the pages. Emma Hart and her snarky, sassy heroines are seriously bringing laughter into my life!
And Holley’s and Sebastian’s story did as well. This is a second chance story at its best and a must read.
I devoured the book and was not so patiently waiting for the famous first kiss!! In fact I was groaning and and yelling at my kindle for them to get their act together, lol.
