Dual narration, male narrator constantly sounds annoyed.

Cute story, I dont quite understand the sequence of time, from my understanding they met and married within like 4 months but it's entirely possible I didn't catch the time lapses. I hope the next in the series is the agent

I thought Hazel and Emmetts story was so cute!! Hazel is adorable and I love the way she loves the kids and family's she nanny's for. Her love for her sister has kept her from following her current family she works for to a different state, meaning she needs to find a new job. Emmett, a single dad, is needing to find a new nanny for his daughter, June. His parents had previously watched her when he was traveling or at practice, however they've decided they are going to travel the world while they still can. His mom has taken over interviewing for a new nanny to take over watching June. After having an amazing referral and interviewing with his mom, Hazel has been given the job of watching June. June quickly takes to Hazel and they grow very close to each other. Over time, Emmett who trusts no one has to open himself up to this new person in their life. I love the way they bonded over their love of June and slowly began to lean on each other as well.  Sometimes it's nice to read a slow build romance instead of a fast paced instalove.

I thought the narrators did a fantastic job bringing this book to life!!

Thank you NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and the author for a chance to listen to and review this book.

This book was such a fun read! I sped through it, not because it's particularly short or anything, but because it's that good.

I loved all the tropes in The Double Play. Super fun, super funny, and so swoony (without being explicit).

Why was the FMC crying all the time
