This dynamic is like one of my worst fears coming to life; AI overtaking humanity/becoming hyper aware and essentially controlling us. I loved the concept of jealousy and how Am made Ted experience extreme physical pain to replicate the pain that it felt knowing it would never be human and only ever a machine.
Loads of reviews speak about the misogynistic language but, I really believe that that added to disturbing situation we were reading about. (Not that I support it)

there is a reason this story is a classic. i enjoyed it for what it was and i think the moral message is very digestible. however, it has its flaws, as most novels do.
