A Gift for Kit

Book Completed: 8/28/2012
Book Rating: ★★★★
Continue Series?: Yes!

An adorable little short story that gives you warm fuzzies.

I am so happy Ms. Singh wrote about Kit. I've been wanting to read more about him. I needed some kind of solid chunk about him to know that he wasn't about to turn into a power-hungry or foolish juvenile. This little clip gave me enough relief to see that he has a good head on his shoulders.

I can definitely see a book being written about Rina in the future. I hope she gets with Jon though. It's just too cute to pass up. It would be interesting to see a human (male)-changeling (female) pairing. I'm not sure how it would work out though.

Also, Ms. Singh sure seems to enjoy killing off parents. Just an observation.

A short scene featuring Kit and his older sister Rina. This was a cute and emotional scene. I like that we are getting these little scenes that focus on side characters.

My Jonquil/Rina shipping lenses when Kit asks her how she is doing with that cub that has a crush on her. I know it'll probably take 10+ years to get to their book (since from book 1 to Allegience of honor it's only been 3 years...) and that probably they won't get together but KJHADKSAJD NALINI, PLEASE.

This was really sweet and a little sad. I loved getting to see more of Kit and Rina.

Loved reading this scene, of Kit getting a present that is meaningful and it was so great to read again!

Nice look into Rina and Kit's life since up until then they are pretty minor characters.
