sorry the formatting is kind of weird, i wrote this up in the notes app because i was rating/ reviewing each novella as i was reading.

-i wish that this was so much more than
it was. it just seemed to be missing
something and it was incredibly
repetitive

-hate to correct people, but i highly
doubt that jem has a stradivarius violin.
about 1,110 instruments were made by
stradivari and those aren’t just violins.
on top of that most of them were made
between 1680ish-1700 and were made
in italy, so even back in the late 1800s,
it would have been difficult for jem to
get one. tessa’s first edition books on
the other hand? much more believable.

Honestly (and I hate myself a little for it) but this is the first book in a while that I’ve laid awake reading until 2 AM. This is filled with intrigue. Particularly the last parts…I need to see what happens next! I need more of Jem’s wholesome dad skills and Kit’s brotherly love. And I always need more Magnus Bane and Alec in my life.
