This is just not a style of writing I like. It feels unnecessarily vague and hard to follow. If you're going to be weaving 3 different stories at the same time, it needs to be clear what is happening, when, and to whom. I don't think I'm an idiot, but I swear I got lost multiple times trying to figure out what was going on, at least with the audiobook. Perhaps this is a book better read from the text itself. No time to test that out, and I won't be reading the sequels. Shame, because it seems like an interesting world and story, just couldn't really follow it as well as I would like.
