Words can not explain why I loved this so much (mostly because I’m writing this review 8 months later and can barely remember a thing). But Blue is my favorite, so I like anything focused on her. The plot/lore development was v good though and I finally care equally about all of the characters lol
(I still think Gansey would be racist idk) Blue and Adam should be angrier than they are tbh

2020: Fantastic Re-Read!! I can't believe the last time was 2017! I forgot all of the action and bombs dropped at the end!!

I loved seeing Ronan and Adam growing as characters as well as Blue & Gansey’s secret forbidden love ❤️ ❤️

Omg!! What a great installment!!

Blue's mom is gone, "underground" by her own words. The boys & Blue, enter a cave and find something shocking. Mr. Grey is affronted with new and rising complications. Mr. Mallory comes to visit. Just what the hell could go wrong.

OMG OMG OMG I love these characters, what the hell is wrong with me. You know....Adam and Ronan shared a lot of lingering looks in this book. I'm tired of getting duked out by queer bating authors, but I just have a feel, right in my gaydar....that something fishy is going on with those two. I LOVED getting to meet Greenmantle and Piper. I thought they were perfectly hilarious and very cunning villians. I loved the Grey man and I'm so glad he has stuck around. He's perfect and gentle and violent and perfect. Adam, Adam, Adam, my boy. I would die for you. And you are growing so much and I'm so proud and I hope a certain other angry boy gives you a smooch. 300 Fox Way ladies, really are just the perfect counterparts to this story. I though Mallory was pretty great too. Like so out of touch and annoying and it brought levity to it. I miss Persephone already

This book was superb everything I needed from a book. It has a little bit of slow burn romance, a little bit of humor, and a whole lot of mystery and adventure. This book finally delved into Blue, I had been waiting to see how this character could be just as deep and complex as the other characters. We finally get to see her as a main character with complex emotions instead of this practical sidekick. The author invested so much time to bring Blue into the forefront to develop this character when you think about it. Blue’s abilities have forced her to be a sidekick a supporting role. Which is what we had really seen for the last 2 books, we saw a sassy teen with a tendency to be underwhelmed by everything. Then we get to the third book where we now still see this sassy teen, but due to unexpected events that force her to be the hero the we get to see how scared and vulnerable she is, *chef’s kisses*. Plus in this book we finally get to see how Ronan feels about Blue which was exactly what I needed because I was unsure if Ronan saw Blue as another annoyance or as a friend. But Blue isn’t the only character that was due for character development, we finally start to see Adam mature and grow, thank god. His pity party and self sabotaging behavior disguised as pride was getting on my nerves.

Holy fuck? Holy fuck. Holy fuck. Holy fuck!

Excuse the profanity; my mind is melting by the absolute awesomeness of this series.

Sense of dread is building itself to new heights. Haven't felt the panicked need to know what is going to happen in a long time - genuinely in love with the whole experience of this.
