I loved this story! I’m all for genuine character growth and for characters with deeper stories and obstacles. I will say, Jax drove me nuts at the beginning when he was been a cocky a**hole. I’m all for a bad boy, but he made me so mad for some reason 🙈

Jax and Elena were a fun couple.

This book was paced well. Like the first two books, the whole racing season happens. It was nice to see Jax in a different light. He was barely there in the first two novels even though he was mentioned.

❗️SPOILERS❗️

Jax is diagnosed with the same disease as his mother. There was a bittersweet ending which was interesting to see. Also, it was cool to see him quit F1 and not even hesitate. Since Noah is the F1 king and Liam wanted to stay racing so bad.

This story felt different than the first two and I enjoyed that.

Jax Kingston will forever have a part of my heart. This book absolutely Wrecked me, is all the best ways. I’ve read 7/8 of Asher’s books and this one is hands down my favorite. Everything about it was done so beautifully.

2.5⭐️ Initially I was really enjoying this book. Around the halfway mark it started to drag a bit and then the ending mad me so mad that had I had a physical copy of this book I would have thrown it.
The way Jax handled his positive test and tried to ruin his relationship ruined the book for me
