I thought the book was well written but it did take a while for it to fully captivate me, but once it did I had a hard time putting it down. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. I'd highly recommend it to fellow dystopian enthusiasts.

I kept putting this book off because I judged the book by it's cover. I thought it wasn't my style but actually shocked I'm in love with the characters and the story line of the entire book. It was confusing at first to understand the fractions but I got the hang of it and ended up enjoying this a lot more then I thought I would. Highly recommend!

Fun, fast read. Loved the character Four. The premise is a little strange in that I don't believe one person could only ever exhibit only one trait. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'factionless' part of the world is comprised of a lot of Divergents.

I absolutely loved this book. I found the first 50-100 pages pretty boring and uneventful, but after that I couldn't put the book down. I think everyone would like this book because it has everything from action to mystery in it.

Absolutely loved this book! I can't get enough of these politically-based dystopian stories and I'm not sure why there seem to be so many written for YA (like this one).

I picked this up from the New Releases shelf at my library after learning that it won book of the year in two Goodreads categories. This is the first novel by this fabulous Goodreads author but you wouldn't even know it. I'm not sure if there are any plans for a sequel yet or not but there is definitely the opportunity.

If you like dystopian books or are interested in reading one for the first time, this one's for you!

I loved it and after looking for another dystopian series like Hunger Games for a while I was a bit skeptical. I'm staring Insurgent tonight and can't wait to see what happens next!
