While still very good, I didn't find the second half of this to be quite as good as the first. The story really started to drag for me right around the time Heath awoke on Heaven and those subsequent issues, it felt like Remender was just spinning his wheels trying to figure out how to set up the conclusion of the series. Thankfully he stuck the landing on the ending and it was pretty much perfect. Heath fulfills his original aim and gets to see glimpses of the happily ever after his actions gave him. All in all it was a great run that really only had one dip in quality, and even then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fans of pulp science fiction.
