One of us is back by Karen M.McManus is the thrilling 3rd installment of the One of us is lying series. I enjoyed reading the series, because of the twists and turns the reader is exposed to - this leaves the reader scrambling to put the rest of the puzzle pieces together. Furthermore, what stood out for me while reading this series was the writing style, because the writing style portrays the complexity and flaws of the characters exceptionally. However, the series does include quite a bit of cuss words, but this it expected of the young adult genre. Additionally, reader should not be worried about One of us is back being a repeat of the prior books, because there are fresh secrets to uncover that will leave the reader surprised. I will recommend this book (and series) to any reader who enjoys a binge-worthy young adult, mystery series filled with plot twists and sizzling romance.
