This was actually really enjoyable but something you could absolutely never read in public. This was pure erotica. And there isn’t anything wrong with that. While the plot was there, it was secondary to the scenes between the MMCs. If you’re looking for a light Mafia but intensely smutty book this is definitely it.

This book was absolutely filthy and I loved it. I feel like maybe I enjoyed it so much because I relate to Izzy’s spark or maybe I just want Cade but either way- whoo. This book has pretty much anything you want. Sex (lots of it), partying, drama, action, cute scenes. I won’t say they’re my favorite books but it’s also my second book from the series and have 3 more of her books lined up to read. I think it worth the read and they’re a quick read. Maybe 3.5 hours max. The characters are genuinely likable and the epilogues always have me obsessed.

Wanted to really like this book, but unfortunately it didn’t deliver. Promise of an all powerful hacker was great. Him being in the mob and working for the gouvernement-too unrealistic even for a book. Didn’t get the “I leave you to protect you” a la Twilight rendition. And don’t even get me started on he decides everything- even when she should be pregnant.

I really wanted to like this more, but the characters were inconsistent (Is Cade really an antisocial recluse?? doesn't seem that way..) and many parts were repetitive/lacked depth. Eh

I can’t explain this but it was so hot and steamy and good but there was something lacking for me. I am not sure if it was the way that Cade talked about Izzy up until the very end sometimes or what but there is something that rubbed me the wrong way.
Or maybe it could be the verily there grovelling? Honestly im still trying to figure it out.
I have to say that if you are looking for a steamy mafia cyber hacker romance, this could be your next pick! Although i would skip the audiobook for this one, i was just not vibing with the male narrator, sorry!!
PS spoiler but if you don’t want to invite another person into the bedroom just to maybe see if your partner wants that, dont? I felt like that entire scene was unnecessary.
