I wanted to like this book, I read one other and liked it. However, Izzy is the most pick me I've read since Den of Vipers. You can be confident in your job and who you are without constantly throwing it in the readers face. Cade is a prick constantly and Izzy makes no sense. This book is just too far out of the realm of reality for me. Mob boss, hacker, business owner and more? Like what? The writing is also not a consistent style from what I've read before which is odd but whatever. I'm sure the background might make more sense if I'd read the other books. But if that's going to be the case make a whole SERIES and don't advertise as stand alones please because I don't have the energy to start a book then realize I need to read an entire series to understand almost anything background wise
