I'm going to admit something. I enjoyed this book. But these two just were not my favorite. Fractured Freedom was my first read by Shain Rose and I just adored Dante and Delilah. So I'm sad to say that Cade and Izzy just didn't meet my expectations. They were fun to read about. Cade was this big scary hacker who could control the world. But he was also so d*** mean to Izzy right off the bat. Whether he meant to be or not that is the ultimate impression I got. Izzy was decent but she just didn't seem to have much substance. She was obsessed with work, especially hacking, and had a past that she seemed to not want to share. She wanted nothing to do with Cade and fought him at every turn, in work and s**. It honestly got a bit annoying. I wanted her to love on her family more. To open up to them. To trust them. Yet she refused to do that and got pissed if they seemed to care. In the end I enjoyed this book but I just had a hard time staying focused. There are triggers throughout this story. None of them bothered me. I just didn't feel connected to these two.

As a fan of spice even I must say that was a lot of spice that was only because they hated each other. I couldn’t really read it till the end. I was skipping through but I liked it in the beginning. Maybe others will love it bc the spice was good, just too much without a real plot. He wasn’t really my type of book boyfriend

Cade and Izzy's story is an emotional rollercoaster, but it's so worth it in the end.

I can not get over how well written Corrupted Chaos is. I finished it in less than 24 hours it held my attention so well.

Izzy and Cade have a complicated relationship. Izzy assumes Cade hates her based off their first meeting when she went undercover. The banter and bickering between the two is great and flows with how their relationship is. They both feel they are better off doing life alone and don't need anyone else for anything. Cade begins to Crack Izzy's shell and the turmoil and realness comes pouring through.

I absolutely loved this book. It held my attention, made me laugh, made me cry, and had me on the edge of my seat. The spice is off the scale. I thought Dante was spicy and possessive, he has nothing on Cade! 5 out of 5 ⭐️ and oh nelly

He's a misogynistic and controlling asshole who doesn't respect her agency and own decisions in the slightest, there's no romance or really any character - only sex, hate the 'we are going to have a baby right now because I say so'-trope and also hate the 'it was never mentioned anyone here wants children but all of a sudden we're having one'-trope
