I’m honestly confused how this book has such good reviews. 2 stars. 1 because the writing didn’t suck. 2. Spice.

Cade was confusing, he was like a mash of every trope ever, boss, mafia, government agent, business man, hard on the outside/soft on the inside.

Izzy, had so much past trauma and her character was also confusing, like the author couldn’t pick a story to follow.

It overall was so unrealistic that it was hard for me to finish.
