This book literally had me on an emotional rollercoaster. And truthfully I never have connected to a character as I did Izzy. Shain did an amazing job with Izzy & her sobriety along with reality of the battles of it especially when you have family concerned. Cade I literally had a love/hate thing for him. But he knew their limits & regardless as much as you want to hate him he’s truthfully an amazing Balance of what Izzy needed. The spice, the action, and chemistry overall in this book was amazing. Definitely check triggers. But yes if u haven’t read this. DO IT!! Book 1 fractured freedom was good too. These are standalones but both books are great too.

I really enjoyed this book. To start off I’m a sucker for any enemies to lovers. Or anything that has a good hate fuck. And this obviously started off like that. But Cade and Izzy’s relationship progressed great. Their banter was so fun. Honestly Izzy is probably one of my favorite female MCs in a long time. Obviously Cade was amazing and loved all his possessive alpha tendencies. Plot was entertaining and interesting especially having the mob fam with the technology business aspect was different.
My my my! Not going to lie this took me a little bit to get into, but this did not disappoint. We love Cade. Izzy was strong and I couldn’t help but root for her, her strength, her resilience. Also that voyeur/group ish scene was hot hot hot!!! Wowza. This will be a re read for me soon
