Wow this book was like a breathe of fresh air. It wasn’t a typical mafia romance but more office romance/ elements of mafia/ witty banter. And it is HELLA spicy. Like so good. Our FMC, Izzy, is a wild ride and I loved her character so much. She’s in a male dominated field and is constantly told by everyone she is ‘too much’. Our MMC, Cade, is our perpetual loner bad boy. Cade is Izzy’s boss and it sounds like the main event that happens in the book is a resulting action from another book by this author. I wish we had a bit more information on the rest of the siblings/situations that have all be set up in other books but other than that, this was a good read. Lots of banter, lots of jealousy, lots of self discovery. For anyone whose been told they were too much, this book is for you.
