"Endless" is a sweet book starting at about the second chapter, but it wasn't without its tiny bits of trauma or heartache.
Isolde ("Eh-Zole-dey" if you go by how Google pronounces it) had left her hometown a year prior due to a sudden break up that tore her heart out. The only reason she was returning after all that time was because her younger sister was getting married. She was still close to her family, plus she was the maid of honour. She couldn't face her ex alone, though, who also happened to be the best man. One of her best friends gave her the number of a pack of escorts she had once interviewed, the St. James pack, and they took on the job to go with Isolde and stay with her for three weeks - enough time for her parents' wedding anniversary, her sister's wedding rehearsal, the wedding, and the gap in between.
The moment the St. James Pack got a whiff of Isolde at the airport, they knew she was their scent match. Unfortunately, SHE wouldn't know it until her heat hit. With how she wanted to keep the pack at arm's length and with the pain she still felt at being abandoned the year before, they didn't want to scare her away by telling her too quickly. Instead, they decided they'd have to show how good they could treat her, love her, and tell her once she got to know them better.
Throughout the story, Isolde tries to keep her distance and not let her heart get attached to the men, but it was hard. She kept telling herself it wasn't real, that she was just a job to them. She also knew she was going to be devastated when they left. She was learning what life could be like, but may never get.
"Endless" has just enough drama to keep things exciting, but it isn't the biggest focus in the book. It's more about her path to healing and the men of the pack helping her to do so while showing her her worth and beauty, inside and out. Her ex is very much involved in the story, and she learns just how toxic of a relationship they had, though she didn't know it at the time. She doesn't miss him by any means, but the damage done to her caused lasting emotional scars.
Something I enjoy about this story is Isolde learning even a year after her break up how toxic the relationship had been (something I can relate to personally). It isn't always noticeable, even when you're in the relationship. It can seem like small things, but once you're out of it, you realize how bad things were.
I also like the fact that she had trouble finding "pleasure" physically. It's something that's rarely ever spoken about in real life or books, despite it being actually fairly common. The men help her through this issue, too, and are very understanding about it.
One final bonus thing I enjoyed about the book is the artwork that represented each of the characters. It was beautifully done!
If you want a sweet, somewhat simple Omegaverse that has some ex troubles to round out the story perfectly, this is a fantastic read for you! I definitely recommend this book!

Sweet omegaverse about a girl who hires a hot pack of escorts to be her date at her sister's wedding--because her dickhead ex is the best man. Troperiffic rom-com setup but the part I thought was especially well done was Isolde slowly realizing how terrible her relationship with Beau had been. He did a number on her, starting with love-bombing and then boiled-frogging her with increasing emotional abuse until her self-esteem was in tatters.
Her pack of escorts instantly realizes she's their scent-matched mate, but in this OV, omegas don't know until their heat hits. The pack goes into super courting mode and does everything they can to woo Isolde and help her heal from Beau's abuse, part of which is helping her realize there was abuse in the first place. Cue tons of delicious spoiling and pampering.
I would have liked more on the guys' backstories. How did they end up with each other? Why did they decide to do the work they do? Etc. But overall a sweet and emotional omegaverse with some gentle kinky spiciness.
